B'gaya by Efie, a local Maluku brand, was founded in 2010 by Efie Hehanussa. Initially, the brand focused solely on custom orders. However, since 2011, B'gaya by Efie has expanded into the world of batik, showcasing traditional motifs and local wisdom from Maluku. Driven by a deep passion for regional culture, B'gaya by Efie highlights the beauty of distinctive Maluku patterns. These include traditional motifs like Kakehang, as well as designs inspired by local wisdom and Maluku's natural riches. Each piece is crafted using authentic batik methods: hand-drawn (tulis), stamped (cap), and a combination of stamped and hand-drawn techniques, all aimed at preserving the authenticity of this textile art form.
