Nature is a teacher. As the Minang proverb goes. Culture is never-ending, tapping into a source of inspiration.

Buffalo horns are one of the most recognizable icons in Minangkabau culture. They symbolize strength, spirit, and victory.

The pointed horns symbolically can be seen on the gonjong roofs of the godang house and the head coverings of traditional Minang women's clothing.

From humble horns, we weave "TANDUA" in our latest and most special collection. The fruit of handmade craftsmanship imbued with passion, perseverance, precision, and skill.

MSME Profile

Our story began in 2018 in a village in Minangkabau, West Sumatra, when our founder, Dewi Febriana, an Artist, gathered a small group of talented women artisans from the world's largest matrilineal ethnic group and guided them to develop weaving products with more contemporary designs to reach a wider and more appropriate market. Most of them farmed during the day and weaved at night or in their spare time. Our mission is to empower rural women, preserving cultural heritage and the history of previous generations through traditional craft and delivering ethical and sustainable products to you, the discerning and socially conscious customer.
