Weeka Sejahtera Group was established in 2014 in Yogyakarta with the objective of reviving local wisdom in a modern form. Weeka addresses the declining trend of herbal medicine consumption among young people by offering a range of spices, including wedang uwuh, bunga telang, and lemongrass, in a variety of herbal drinks that are both hygienic and practical, and delicious. The products are presented in modern packaging that respects cultural values. Weeka is dedicated to empowering its workforce, with 80% of its production team consisting of housewives who are both economically and skillfully empowered. Weeka engages the younger generation in digital innovation and marketing, making it an adaptive and sustainable MSME.
